NEW! Teaching Resources while at home (CLICK HERE)

Bluffton Public Library services the Bluffton Exempted Village School District, Allen, Hancock, Hardin, Putnam Counties, and homeschooling families residing within our service population area. We encourage teachers to be in touch with our library staff concerning possible collaborations, and we offer the following services to local teachers:

Class Visits

Our Youth Services Coordinator can visit your classroom! We are happy to visit your classroom to instruct students on how to use our resources, do a story time or participate in a special event at your school.

Library Tours

Come visit the library with your class! Our Youth Services Coordinator will show students the Children's or Teen collection and provide information on special events and library resources. When scheduling and staffing allow, we can also include a short story time, craft activity or tour of the building during the visit.

Please contact ysc@blufftonpubliclibrary.org to arrange a visit or tour.

Assignment Alerts

Help us prepare our library to insure your students access to the resources they will need for your assignment!  Alert the library when you're assigning a paper or project that will likely use our library materials.  We can be aware of what area in our library will see more traffic or even create a display of materials for quick reference for your students.

Please send assignment information at least 10 days prior to start of the assignment.
