Adult Volunteers
We have a variety of volunteer activities available, including dusting/straightening shelves, assisting with storytime, restocking forms, outdoor weeding/mulching and recycling newspapers/cardboard and more. Most activities allow for flexible scheduling. Please complete a volunteer application and return it to the library for consideration. To receive more information about opportunities prior to applying, please contact the library director by calling 419-358-5016 or sending an email to director@blufftonpubliclibrary.org.
Display Case Collections
Collection displays are scheduled in advance and are generally loaned to the library for one month. Displays are typically set up and removed by the donor.
For more information, please call 419-358-5016 to speak with the Adult Services Coordinator or send an email pr@blufftonpubliclibrary.org.
Program/Workshop Hosts
Due to ongoing cuts in state funding, the library relies on the generosity of volunteers to provide craft, entertainment and enrichment programs to the community.
Please consider sharing your time and talent with others in the community. No formal presentation skills required.
Past programs have included hand-made cards, bathroom/kitchen design, organizing financial paperwork, fresh flower decorating, wreath making, gourd carving, watercolor, poetry and live music.
