The Bluffton Public Library has numerous programs for kids of all ages.  In addition to special one-time events, the library's Youth Services department offers weekly programs for all ages throughout most of the year. These programs include Storytime, Chill Zone and the Teen Advisory Group meetings. The library also hosts the Summer Reading Program, which encourages kids of all ages to read books, and includes a wide variety of fun and educational programs.

Storytime

Storytime is an early learning experience for preschool children age 3-5 held Mondays at 6:30 pm, and Tuesday at 10:00 am.  Each session is approximately 35 minutes long.  During Storytime, we introduce children to literature through books, songs, finger plays, crafts, and other activities.  The Bluffton Public Library is also participating in the state wide initiative, Ready to Read, whose goal is to better prepare children to succeed as learners.  Storytime breaks during the months of December, May, and August.  Due to limited space, participants in Storytime must register at the front desk.
