Volunteer

Do you have some extra time during the week or just want to connect with your community? The Bluffton Public Library has a variety of adult volunteer activities available, including:

• Assisting with special events
• Assisting with storytime or other youth programs
• Assiting with routine circulation (sorting materials, cargo, etc.) - training required
• Dusting/straightening shelves
• Hosting programs
• Light cleaning
• Obituary look ups and data entry
• One-on-one computer tutoring
• Outdoor litter clean up, weeding, mulching
• Pre-sorting materials for shelving (training required)
• Recycling newspapers/cardboard
• Restocking office forms
• Selecting and delivering materials to homebound patrons - vehicle required

Most activities allow for flexible scheduling.  Please complete a volunteer application and return it to the library for consideration.  Applications are available at the library circulation desk or by clicking here.
