Volunteer
Do you have some extra time during the week or just want to connect with your community? The Bluffton Public Library has a variety of adult volunteer activities available, including:
- Assisting with special events
- Assisting with storytime or other youth programs
- Assiting with routine circulation (sorting materials, cargo, etc.) - training required
- Dusting/straightening shelves
- Hosting programs
- Light cleaning
- Obituary look ups and data entry
- One-on-one computer tutoring
- Outdoor litter clean up, weeding, mulching
- Pre-sorting materials for shelving (training required)
- Recycling newspapers/cardboard
- Restocking office forms
- Selecting and delivering materials to homebound patrons - vehicle required
Most activities allow for flexible scheduling. Please complete a volunteer application and return it to the library for consideration. Applications are available at the library circulation desk or by clicking here.
